In his original compositions, Daniel combines a rhythmic groove with complex soundscapes from daily life, reminding listeners to tune into both the industrial and natural world. Working digitally, he samples ancient world instruments, creating warm, electro-acoustic sound collages with the latest digital technology.

Daniel has composed music for television documentaries, theater, and dance as well as soundtracks for award-winning promotional videos (IBM, In Fashion), and animated films (NYC Dumbo Digital Film Festival). His original music for contemporary ensembles and festivals has been performed and recorded throughout Europe and the United States. He is currently creating sound identities (aural logos) for his clients.

“Mr. Baruch has worked for us as a composer, computer programmer, sound designer, and sound engineer. His work as a composer on a series of videos for IBM contributed to a product that won a national award for non-broadcast promotional video. His sound design and sound engineering work were also part of our well received concerts at major venues in Los Angeles, among them The Getty Center and the UCLA Hammer Museum. I highly recommend Daniel Baruch for a position in the music industry.”
